Get the FAQ's

What is Count+Stat? [Back to top] Count+Stat 1.51 is a useful SSI based graphical counter. It also keeps track of your sites statistics. It is based on TWN Perl Co.'s Countran statistics engine version 1.25. It has easy installation, and requires only Perl, and SSI.

What is StatsPlus? [Back to top] StatsPlus 1.25 uses SSI to keep track of your site's statistics. It runs on TWN Perl Co.'s Countran statistics engine version 1.25. Your users don't even know that it's running!

How do I uncompress files? [Back to top] To uncompress files, you will need the corresponding utility (i.e. pkzip, winzip, Zip for Unix, or KDE Ark for zip), and run the extracting program on the files. CNet's Download.com features plenty of extracting utilities. TWN Perl Co. offers ZIP, TAR, and ARJ files for Count+Stat, No SSI+ CStat, StatsPlus, and GuestCall; ZIP and TAR for Go2It!.

What are SSI's? [Back to top] SSI, Server Side Includes format simple commands in html with script output. Most Apatche, and NSCA servers support SSI's. SSI's are now being supported by many other servers too.

Where should I get the digit images (Count+Stat only)? [Back to top] We recommend Digit Mania, or our very own digit center.

Should all the digits be in one image (Count+Stat only)? [Back to top] No. All images should be separated with this naming system x.gif, or x.jpg where x is the digit the image contains.

Can I call Count+Stat with an IMG tag? [Back to top] No. You should call Count+Stat with the
<!--#exec cgi="path/to/script.pl" -->
SSI command.
